01. From the 70s


Hi,

 

Back when I was a young boy my father gave to me a miniature train set HO scale. Looks like a sentence out of a song, really. Never mind...

I don't recall if it was his train set and passed on to me, or just the scattered parts he collected here and then.

Never really had space and time to express my creativity until now, but I always kept them properly stored, those tiny Locomotives, carriages and tracks.


For those who know, this type of "kids" toys are really awesome if you express you creativity. 

Recently, I decided to give this toy his desired place in the realm of Trains world and build a really awesome track.

Here I'll be posting all the advances and drawbacks, and share ideas for those who follow...

06. Automated Wind Mill

N ew project was to make a rotating Wind Mill with a 360º servo that I bough by mistake instead of a 180º for the Train Crossing.   So... nothing is lost, just a new challenge.   The challenge here was not the programming but transferring servo movement to the Wind Mill Mast through a set of gears.   Material:   1x 360º servo                  1x set of small plastic gears     1x paper clip   1x Wind Mill from modelismoartesanal       1x Micropython board             Here you can watch full video of the build
